This is the story of kinship. Kinship is play sisters, god-moms, and family. Kinship is ballroom in the middle of the street for O’shea. See Kinship extends beyond blood because we know sometimes that shit ain’t as thick as a lil bit of Detroit water. Kinship is more than just blood, but the people that you surround yourself with that make you feel sound. Photos have long been used to capture kinship and I hope that I too will soon be reflect upon kinship through the photographic lens.
