My Freedom Dream 

What’s my freedom dream?

Frankly, my freedom dream is to put an end to this American tradition of police lynchings.  

My freedom dream is transcendence into a new godly society. 

A society constructed with deviancy and verve.

A beyond human society where joy is Black and boundless. 

Where we as a people find the rhythm of freedom and funk. 

My freedom dream is for a liberatory education .

To continue the fight of my ancestors for a better now. Now. 

Continue the legacy of Adrienne, Daisy, Earlean, Woodson, Hartman, and Baldwin 

To create a space for unlimited creativity and sankofa. 

A fugitive space infused with the spirit of RNB and Hip-Hop.

My freedom dream is radical joy. 

A soul saving joy where Black joy is boundless. 

A joy centering the Black community and our need to escape. 

Something akin to Illa J’s ace of love.
