Sounds of the city: Live in DTLA

Something about this man.

A man of distinction.

Narrating the lives of the “privileged” from the outside A man standing on the outside.

Outside of the expectations. Outside of society. Outside of the Womens Christian Association.

Narrating the lives of the “privileged”

The distinct sounds of the oncoming wheels them wheels carry a history a mileage of life of sorts.

The wheels of skaters glide past rocking the scene for all the onlookers.

The skaters glide past with the sounds of persistence, the melody of freedom, the tone of refusal.

I honestly forgot the sound. The sound of duress. The sound of the agents of the state.

The sounds of ambulances going toward a fire. The rush of police as they move toward the shooting. I hope they get away.

The suburbs in concealed away from duress.

But not away from the stress.
